Over 30 000 people have been forced to leave as a result of severe wildfires in Southern California as rescuers battle the” continuing to grow” fires amid “extreme weather problems.”
According to Fox News, five fires were raging throughout southeastern California as of Wednesday night. The Hurst Fire, the Tyler Fire, the Palisades Fire, the Woodley Fire, and the Eaton Fire are the five fire that are present in Los Angeles County and the surrounding area.
According to fire officials who spoke with Reuters, at least 2, 921 hectares of the Pacific Palisades place, which is situated between Malibu and Santa Monica, had been consumed by the Palisades Fire as of early on Wednesday morning.
The New York Post posted a video that was shared on X, previously Twitter, that shows rescuers attempting to contain the large fire in Southern California.
During a Wednesday look on” Fox &, Friends”, Margaret Stewart, a Los Angeles Fire Department director, described the fire as “dynamic and risky” and warned that the flames are” continuing to grow”.
” We are in severe weather parameters”, Stewart said. We have sustained winds that are hurricane-force and gusts exceeding 80 miles. It is not possible to stop a blaze that is wind-driven like this, with this kind of terrain, from the ground”.
In a blog on X, Gov. Over 1, 400 firefighting personnel and hundreds of prepositioned assistants were dispatched by the state, according to Gavin Newsom (D-Calif. ), to” combat” the “unprecedented fires” in Los Angeles and the surrounding area.

Newsom added,” Disaster officers, firefighters, and first responders are all fingers on board through the night to do everything possible to protect life”.
According to Pasadena Fire Department Chief Chad Augustin, the Eaton Fire was “definitely the worst clean fire and worst event that Pasadena has seen in its story,” addressing the risk of the Southern California fire on Wednesday.
” When I was driving to the control blog, it really looked like an apocalypse”, Augustin said. ” You don’t see – there was place flames everywhere, there were plants coming down absolutely as we were driving. And many, many houses on fire”.
