They were clean when fire fighters at the picture of the devastating Pacific Palisades fireplace retrieved the wrenches and pumped the fire hydrants out. And that, friends, is the icon for all that is incorrect with the ignorant management of Los Angeles and the state of California: a dry fire hose.  ,

On Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, I could have sworn that ocean was there close to the top. Sure, there it is, range one. Jesus referred to himself as “living ocean.” It seems like water is very important for sustaining life and igniting burns.
Where’s the ocean, Gavin Newsom?  ,
We thought it was terrible when Jerry Brown and Newsom, a former Democrat client of the governor’s mansion, abandons food and water for residents to send thousands of acre feet of fresh water into the salt sea during floods and rainy days to keep a fish fish.  ,
According to the NY Times,” The majority of the roughly$ 1 billion collected from Los Angeles County taxpayers over the past four years has gone largely unspent.” $ 1 billion taken, they dump water then we get placed on water restrictions. pic. twitter.com/KBo2GezHNL— Chef Andrew Gruel (@ChefGruel ) March 19, 2023
However, many Californians didn’t really connect the dots and believe it had an impact on their lives. After all, Jerry and Gavin have our best interests at heart, right?  ,
Wrong.Â
When you can see your home burning down without any water, it is quite a different story.  ,
Welcome to the party, pal.  ,

Rick Caruso, a developer who owns Palisades Village and also served as a commissioner on the L.A. waterfront, Department of Water and Power board, says the lack of water is from the mismanagement. Caruso, who lost to Karen Bass for the L.A. mayor in the previous election, claims that the Department of Water and Power did not fill the reservoir.  ,

,” We’ve got neighborhoods burning, homes burning, and businesses burning. It should never happen”, the , L. A. Times reported. Caruso lamented,” The firefighters are there, and there’s nothing they can do”.
The L.A. is quoting Caruso. because the city’s mayor was unable to comment due to his ongoing trip to Africa.
This provides a glimpse into a city systemic issue, including our outdated infrastructure and mismanagement, he said.
#BREAKING: Los Angeles fire hydrants are OUT OF WATER because the county REFUSED to refill reservoirs, per Rick Caruso
” You can’t fight a fire without water”!
Despite being warned about the risk of fire and winds, the mayor ZERO preparation was done.

In fairness, we note that low water pressure in fire hydrants has happened before. Indeed, the L. A. According to reports, it occurred in 2022. The woke newspaper of record reported that “hydrant failures hampered efforts to combat the Mountain fire in Ventura County when inactive water pumps delayed the delivery of hillside water in November.” Pro tip, L. A.: Some cities test fire hydrants.
However, things in California are even worse than you could imagine.
President-elect Donald Trump has criticized Newsom’s radical resource choices for years, as evidenced by the pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills.  ,

Newsom fought against it because every time the California voter had the opportunity to bring water to all of California, not just to our farmers and growers, said Hibbs.
This post is true. Newsom fought against it whenever the California voter had the chance to bring water not only to all of California but also to our farmers and growers.

California’s Democrats have mismanaged the state’s most precious natural resource, after people, to favor things other than people.
In the article” Incompetence Is Why Fire Insurance Companies Have Fled California,” I made the following point:
California has always suffered from Santa Ana winds, wildfires, and hot weather. Those things haven’t changed. What has changed, however, is the state’s management of resources and its response to fires. California has a population of 40 million people, and it has roughly the same amount of water as it did when Willam Mulholland was in charge of the 233-mile-long L. A. Aqueduct’s construction in 1913.  ,
Why doesn’t California squirrel away more water?  ,
The New Melones Lake reservoir in Northern California, the most populous state in the nation, was the last reservoir constructed in 1979. It holds 2.4 million acre-feet of water.  ,
By 2034, a new reservoir will be constructed close to Sacramento. In the 1950s, it was already in the works. According to Newsom, construction is anticipated to begin in 2026.

The Oroville Dam is in disrepair.  ,
Californians have voted to pay the price for more water retention and recoup it. That money is reportedly sitting idle. Newsom and his Democrat bureaucrats have so far failed to keep the millions of acre feet of water in check.
And then, there’s always this solution for Palisades, Malibu, and fires that are close to the coast:  ,

What good are California Democrats as leaders if they don’t make the outrageous amount of taxes that are levied from citizens to help actual citizens?  ,
