How did this 23-year-old hiker survive two weeks in Australia's remote mountains?

A Melbourne school scholar, Hadi Nazari, survived 14 times in Australia’s isolated white mountains with little more than river water, cultivated berries, and two muesli bars.
Nazari, a 23-year-old health student, separated from his traveling companions on December 26 while exploring the Hannels Spur road in Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales. He was taking photos when he lost his way and immediately became disoriented, authorities said.
More than 300 firefighters soon started a big search function after Nazari was reported missing. Because he had a lot of camping gear and was experienced hiker, rescuers were able to save him despite the tough terrain and difficulties caused by the densely wooded landscape.
On Wednesday evening, two days after his disappearance, Nazari approached a group of trekkers, exhausted and hungry, but dead. He had traveled through difficult and difficult terrain for more than 10 kilometers ( 6 miles ).
” Walking from morning until night”
Nazari admitted to “walking from morning until night” to officers, according to Broadfoot.
He claimed that there are some waterways up there where he has been foraging for berries where he can and that he has been finding water where he can. At one point, he said he found a couple of cereal plates in a house, but other than that — 14 weeks and that’s pretty much food”, Broadfoot said, as reported by AP.
Nazari’s success tale also featured a lucky discovery of two granola bars in a climbers ‘ hut. That’s pretty little all he’s had for food in the last two weeks, according to police director Andrew Spliet.
    Reunited and airlifted
On Wednesday night, Nazari and his traveling companions were reunited, and he was then taken to a hospital for a medical evaluation. Officials at the doctor confirmed that dehydration was the only health issue.
The Hannels Spur record, a rewarding road leading to the summit of Mount Kosciuszko, Australia’s tallest top at 2, 228 feet (7, 310 feet ), is known for its rough and tough situations.
