EXCLUSIVE — , President-elect Donald Trump’s coming border king, Tom Homan, denied a media statement that said the move group plans to carry out site raids targeting illegal immigrants in Washington, D. C., in the days following the inauguration.
” I can tell you we’ve got no strategies for that. I spoke with the new staff. No one is aware of anything about this, Homan said when asked about a Reuters report that claimed a “high-profile attack” was planned for the first few days of Trump’s next term.
Totaling between one million and two million people, the Trump administration intends to arrest legal unlawful immigrants and anyone who has already been ordered to leave the country by an immigration judge. Under the Biden administration, the Department of Homeland Security began placing a higher priority on those with major criminal convictions rather than on those with unlawful immigrants on the books.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a DHS firm, employs 7, 000 officials who conduct 250, 000 arrests a year, according to the company. Training schools had likely not be able to handle a flurry of new recruits if Trump’s management wanted to double this figure, as Trump has promised.
Trump nominated Gov.  , Kristi Noem , (R-SD )  , to serve as DHS secretary , in his second administration a week after he won the election.
He also named immigration eagles Stephen Miller and Homan for crucial positions in the White House to direct border plan and carry out the imprisonment of illegal immigrants. Miller may be Trump’s deputy commander for coverage. In contrast to Noem, the Senate will not need to confirm Miller and Homan.  ,
Homan , told the , Washington Examiner , in mid-December that there would be” a lot of credit detention” in addition to those above — meaning improper immigrant children and family members found living with offenders would also be swept away and deported.

” In shelter cities, expect a lot of credit detention”, Homan said. ” I mean, never objective unlawful arrests. We didn’t get the poor guy in jail. That requires that we enter the populations to locate them, and there might be others as well. We expect a lot of credit arrests”.
The Trump change staff, DHS, ICE, and Washington, D. C., Mayor Muriel Bowser did not respond to requests for comment.
