As the nation requests a last farewell to former leader Jimmy Carter, a funeral service is being held at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.
At 10 a.m., Carter’s funeral services is scheduled to begin.

After spending nearly two years in hospital treatment, Carter passed away late last month at the age of 100. He served as president from 1977 until 1981, losing his reelection bid in 1980 to Ronald Reagan.
President Joe Biden, then the oldest existing president upon Carter’s fatality, will give the speech, and all five living president, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Biden, are expected to attend the meeting.
