Donald Trump did not serve time in prison or been on probation because he was found guilty of 34 counts that never should have been brought against him by a prosecutor who could never explain the criminal behavior that led to those counts and sentenced by a judge who claimed that Trump’s vote put him above the law.

Political hatred and punishment drove this trial. Trump was accused of falsifying his enterprise records to conceal payments made to prostitute Stormy Daniels by the Manhattan district attorney, Alice Bragg.  ,
Falsifying business documents is a criminal. Bragg claimed that the data were altered for social functions and that Trump attempted to conceal the bills because they would have caused him to lose to Hillary Clinton in 2016 and that they would have caused him to lose.
In a January 2024 appointment with NY1, Bragg claimed that” we allege misrepresentation of business information to the conclusion of keeping data from the electorate.” ” It’s an election meddling event”.
The company documents that Bragg said Trump altered to obtain elected were dated from Feb. 14, 2017, to Dec. 5, 2017. That’s correctly. After the vote was already over and Trump was in the White House, Bragg made the case that the fabricated information allowed Trump to fight Clinton.
Did that stop the press from claiming that Trump “interfered” with the vote?
NPR reported that “former President Donald Trump has been found guilty of 34 matters of falsifying company information to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential vote.” Additionally, according to a Washington Post editor, the jury found Trump guilty of “felony misrepresentation of company records in order to control the 2016 vote.”
Trump was allegedly found guilty of “falsifying business information to stop voters from learning about a sexual experience that he thought would have been socially damaging,” according to an article in the New York Times. The verdict, according to the court, “establishes that Mr. Trump committed atrocities by concealing important information about himself from the American people in order to influence the 2016 presidential vote.”

These outlets are not run by gibbering idiots ( well, not in the classic sense of the word “gibbering” ). Apparently, the editors and writers were aware of the “temporal difficulty”, as Reason’s Jacob Sullum grimly notes. On this, Bragg was specifically counting in.  ,
After deciding that none of the options were officially feasible, Bragg was unconcerned by the fact that his father, Cyrus R. Vance Jr., had decided not to charge Trump with condition offences based on the Daniels NDA. In some way or another, Bragg was determined to find Trump. The resulting situation was so obscure, complicated, and confusing that it remains unclear precisely which type of Bragg’s principle the jury accepted. However, they allegedly were influenced by the lawyer’s state that Trump had apparently committed “election fraud,” despite the fact that he had never been charged with that crime.  ,
In the second-most anti-Trump state in the union in what is probably the most anti-Trump city in the world, finding” 12 good people and real” to sit in judgment on the former president was also near impossible. Trump’s legal team requested a place shift, which a New York panders court promptly denied.  ,
I don’t like Donald Trump, as users of this page are aware of. However, I have a far bigger support for the rule of law. And it’s frightful to me to think what was done to Trump in the name of” fairness” when a fool could see how biased the trial was.

The entire process was a problem of the criminal justice system by hyper-partisan Democrats who wanted to not only prevent Hillary Clinton of losing to Trump in 2016 but even seriously harm Trump’s 2024 hopes.  ,
It didn’t function. The 34-count judgment will likely be torpedoed by the national appellate court. However, Alvin Bragg will almost certainly continue to abuse his position of authority in the name of” righteousness.”
Other people may not have the same sort of luck as Donald Trump.  ,
