Judge Juan Merchan has sentenced President-elect Donald Trump in a New York NDA case ( the so-called “hush money” case ). The statement is an absolute transfer, which is in essence a statement in name only.

President-elect Trump received an absolute transfer sentence on Friday for his hush money criminal conviction, avoiding jail time while maintaining his position as the first person to have been found guilty of a felony to take office.  ,
Less than two months before Trump is scheduled to return to the White House, Judge Juan Merchan’s decision to release him with no strings attached caps the first and only judicial trial of a former president.  ,
The most significant outcome of the punishment of leftists is, of course, that they can wear Trump’s” convicted felon” myth as he takes office. Susie Moore, a RedState colleague, claims that the word means” no jail time or another punishment, save the’convicted felon ‘ tag.”
According to The Hill,” Merchan signaled no consequence was the’most practical answer’ given Trump’s immunity from legal prosecution during his approaching White House term” — in other words, Merchan had to reach him because nobody could touch him after the inauguration. Trump tried unsuccessfully to postpone the imprisonment.

Now, the once and future president can appeal the sentence, and his lawyers are certainly working on that already. The next step will be to undo and correct all the lawful actions against Trump. Hopefully, we’ll have a reckoning one day.
