Riley Leonard, a person from Notre Dame basketball, is establishing a name for himself, and not just because of how he plays on the industry.
The Fighting Irish quarterback praised God’s grace and sovereignty after leading his team to a victory ( 27-24 ) on Thursday against the Penn State Nittany Lions in a resounding victory over the Nittany Lions to advance to the College Football Championship. Then Leonard was questioned by a reporter about how his staff overcame unpleasant difficulties during the opening period of the game.
” Blast, I just started trusting the Lord. I looked away and said,’ Jesus, whatever your will is for my career, I trust it 100 per-cent,'” Leonard said. I am aware that this act and this group had faith in Jesus and His strategy for the upcoming season.
Thursday’s halftime meeting wasn’t the first in which Leonard has given Christ the brilliance. The Notre Dame top praised his” Lord and Savior” for giving the Fighting Irish the chance to thrive for a national title following the team’s final triumph over the Georgia Bulldogs last year.
” First of all, I just want to bless my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without Him, I wouldn’t be here, we wouldn’t be here as a whole class”, Leonard said. ” I’m just so thankful for this option. This is a wonderful thing, and a dream come true”.

Leonard has formerly mentioned how he and about 40 of his teammates take part in a regular Bible study group, which Leonard claimed is “really a record to them.”
God Has a Strategy
While certainly deserving of praise, Leonard’s Thursday notes hold a bigger facts we can all understand from.
When God created man, He gave us the freedom to choose our own actions. However, those choices don’t often reveal what God wants or what God has planned for us.
What Leonard so adroitly conveyed is that it’s the Lord — not us— who is omniscient. It is He who knows the words on our tongues before we speak them ( Psalm 139: 4), and it is He who “is greater than our heart ]s ]” and “knows everything” ( 1 John 3: 20 ).
In life’s turbulent and perplexing times, it can be simple to overlook the wisdom of this common truth. We fail to consider the greater goal He has in store for us and the immortal wisdom of God because we are so ensnared in our own mess.
Only through our faith in Christ’s salvation is we come to this realization and acknowledge that we are fulfilling a much higher asking, as Leonard has argued. We have already received the greatest gift ever given because this world is not our home ( Hebrews 13: 14), regardless of whether we succeed or fail in our earthly endeavors.
With so much confusion away for our state, all of us really take some time to reflect upon Leonard’s words and society’s real meaning. Always remember to keep God in target, praise Him for His lovingkindness, and promote His knowledge with people every chance you get.
