Authorities in Pakistan’s restive Balochistan province reported that armed insurgents stormed a policeman checkpost and even set fire to nearby concrete mill machinery and equipment before fleeing the scene. On Thursday, the incident occurred in Mastung community.
A authorities official confirmed that the assault occurred at a time when the safety officers were changing at the checkpoint and the military militants seized weapons, ammunition, mobile devices, and riders before setting the cement factory on fire.
The armed insurgents had already escaped before security officers could arrive at the scene.
However, there were no deaths in the assault, resources said.
He claimed on Thursday that armed militants who are suspected of belonging to rebel-held organizations had also carried out a related activity in Khuzdar, which is situated in a rural Balochistan province.
He claimed that separatists had allegedly robbed a lender and burned a police stop before fleeing.
According to security and social think tanks, separatist organizations operating in the state have increased their terror attacks on civilians and security personnel working in Balochistan from different regions since last year.
One safety analyst noted that” Balochistan is a very large state in terms of property and most of this land is in rough rocky terrains and in secluded areas,” making it easier for these militants to carry out their problems.
Balochistan, bordering Iran and Afghanistan, is home to a long-running aggressive rebellion. In the past, Kabloch rebel groups have carried out numerous attacks against CPEC jobs.
The BLA accuses China and Islamabad of abuse of the resource-rich state, a command rejected by the government. It has fought a long-running rebellion for a split country.
