After a warning meant for the Kenneth Fire, which started on Thursday, was received by all citizens of Los Angeles, five fires are currently ravaging the city. The LA County claimed that the failure was caused by an error and that no human error occurred, and that further investigation is being conducted to determine how the incorrect notify was sent. The entrance drew the ire of the social media users who inquired as to whether anyone in charge of Los Angeles is still in demand.
I ask that people do not turn off the information on their phones. This is extremely frustrating, unpleasant and terrible but these call tools have saved life during this crisis. The Director of the Office of Emergency Management said that when people receive for alerts they may check on the site to see if they are in the evacuation warning zone.” No receiving an notify can be a result of life and death,” he added.
” NEW: This is an emergency message from the Los Angeles County Fire Department. In your area, an Removal Alert has been issued. Be prepared to leave and stay alert for any risks. Collect loved ones, pets, and products. Continue to monitor local conditions, reports, and the website alertla. nonprofit for more information”, the notice sent to everyone in LA County read.
Los Angeles County officer Janice Hahn quickly identified the problem as a professional error and a fresh alert was issued as a result of this stoking the alarm. According to Hahn,” I have been informed that the removal warning that many of us only received on our phones was misplaced countywide due to a professional error.”
” Disregard past Departure WARNING. It was only intended for Kenneth Fire. AlertLa. nonprofit for more information”, the fresh alert said.
Following the initial false update on Thursday, a second false alert was sent on Friday at 4am. The City of Beverly Hills acknowledged the problem on Friday night, stating that there aren’t any such evacuation orders being issued in that location.
” Still receiving false emails from La County. The latest, at 7: 30 this day. Residents of Pasadena are simply made to ignore the only system in place by this. Telling us that the state is mindful is not enough. Fix it then please”, one X user wrote,
The LA emergency alert system has issued an evacuation notice by mistake for the next time in 24 hours. This day at 4 am with an inaccurate link”, another wrote.
” Is anyone in command of anything in California”, another wrote.
