According to Marcos ‘ official, US President Joe Biden will have a three-way phone call with Japan’s Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos on Monday.
National official Cesar Chavez said in a statement that the phone was supposed to had taken place on Sunday, but it has been postponed due to the Los Angeles fire.
The three leaders are expected to discuss new regional and global developments, economic developments, and progress made in common assistance.
To counteract China’s efforts to control the majority of the disputed South China Sea, the three countries have increased safety assistance.
Prior to the California fires, Biden had to postpone a January 9 to 12 trip to Italy in order to concentrate on the national response.
His name expires on January 20 when Donald Trump may take the oath of office as the country’s new leader.
