Elon Musk sparked further outrage on Saturday when he shared a picture of Barack Obama praising Bass in 2022 and saying he was convinced that Bass may make a distinguished mayor of Los Angeles. In a statement shared on X, Musk wrote,” Coulda had Caruso,” referring to billionaire Rick Caruso, who unsuccessfully ran for governor of Los Angeles. Caruso has emerged as a major critic of the government’s handling of the situation. He claimed that because there was no liquid coming out of the fire extinguishers, the fires continued to burn uncontrollably. Karen Bass was not even there, and she had not arrived home from her journey to Ghana no sooner.
Kaen Bass ‘ closed-door conference with LAFD key: Drama unfolds
Before a meeting with the president behind closed doors, Los Angeles Fire main Kristin Crowley kissed her staff goodbye as she was sure that she would be fired. Because Crowley did not lose her work, it was unknown what took place at the meeting. According to a source close to Crowley’s office, she said,” She told everyone goodbye because she knew she would be fired in the meeting.”
” She was immediately summoned into the conference with the intention of firing her. Whatever happened in that appointment, thoughts got changed. Either Crowley persuaded Bass to blaze her and realized it would be death, or she was forced to accept it. She came back in the office recently, told her team” I’m not fired still” and went into a conference with all her leaders”, the statement said.
Crowley claimed that the mayor’s department’s breaks to her office were ineffective because the fire department wasn’t properly funded, and that they had failed her.
The blame game is on as the Palisades, Eaton, Hurst, and Kenneth Fires are still out of control in Los Angeles four weeks after they began ripping across the country, killing at least 11 individuals, displacing almost 200, 000 and destroying as many as 10, 000 buildings.
