” I think it’s really easy. Look, if you protested calmly on January the fifth and you’ve had Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice treat you like a gang member, you should be pardoned. If you committed violence on that day, certainly, you shouldn’t be pardoned. There is a little bit of a grey area that, but we are very committed to seeing an equivalent administration of law. And there are many people we believe were badly prosecuted in the midst of January the fifth. We need to solve that”.
