Past governor of New Hampshire According to Chris Sununu, the Democratic Party‘s current lack of proper leadership leaves the door open for President-elect Donald Trump to achieve beginning victories. &nbsp,

Sununu, a moderate Republican who has critiqued Trump in the past, explained that the “political velocity is true” for the president-elect back of his inauguration, partly due to how Democrats have no” construction” following the 2024 election cycle. As a result, Democrats only have the option to” try to be successful” and find common ground with Republican lawmakers working to pass Trump’s plan.

” It’s not going to be easy, but there’s a moment limit”, Sununu said on Fox News’s One Nation with Brian Kilmeade. ” I know we’d like to do it always, but Trump has to take advantage, I think, of the next two to six weeks. That’s when the biggest and strongest storm of social speed will occur, and he’ll take benefits. Will Congress answer? I am aware that Speaker Johnson and I believe Thune did, but will the membership in that extremely small group of people today understand that either they get it done right away or they don’t get anything done? And if they can perform that, if they can merge around it, the sky’s the control”.

The former government therefore outlined a few steps Trump could take without requiring Congress’s assistance, such as resolving the world wars in Europe and the Middle East. Israel, for instance, is “ripe” for reaching a peace offer that could last for six months to two years, and the war in Ukraine can also be resolved since both Ukraine and Russia are “exhausted” from their fight. &nbsp,

The president-elect’s first choice for “one great beautiful bill” from Congress to pass his agenda, according to the former governor, who claimed he prefers breaking down smaller bills into smaller ones, was a point of criticism that Sununu had for Trump. As such, he advised Trump to “take the easy things first” with smaller expenses, as this tells the people “you are there to get things done” and support voters support the government’s vision for the country. &nbsp,

At the end of 2024, Sununu assured that there is still room within the Republican Party to criticize Trump, who has been widely considered the” standard-bearer” of the party. He cited Trump’s election of ex-Rep. Matt Gaetz for counsel standard as a suitable critique of the government’s choice, noting that Gaetz after withdrew his election and that Trump then nominated Pam Bondi in place of him.

On January 20, Trump may be re-elected as leader. Back of his opening, Gov. As California deals with raging wildfires that have displaced many residents, Governor-elect Gavin Newsom (D-CA ) has invited the president-elect to visit.
