On Thursday, U.S. Border Patrol agents and Homeland Security Investigations discovered a man-made pipe entering the country from Mexico. Agents discovered it in El Paso, Texas, near a storm drain program by the boundary wall during a safety sweep , of the place.
The” powerful cross-border hole” is thought to have been used for drug trafficking and human trafficking in and out of the United States.  , The train’s proportions were six feet tall and four foot wide. Anthony Scott Good, a member of the El Paso Sector Chief Patrol, praised the deeds of those who found them and emphasized the consequences of such caves.
Good said,” We are proud of the officials who found this smuggling system used by transnational criminal businesses.” Every square km of the El Paso Sector is searched and surveyed by our officials without fail. Together with our partners, we are committed to looking into these illegal activities and prosecuting all those responsible for putting lives at risk in these dangerous conditions and avoiding the legal channels of entry into the United States.
Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX ) posted on X,” This alarming discovery underscores the urgent need to secure our borders and stop the flow of deadly drugs and human trafficking networks.”
To find out where the tunnel was built and who was responsible for it’s construction, a number of law enforcement officials and representatives from the U.S. and Mexican institutions will work together. This combined effort includes the El Paso Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Latino state, the U. S. Consulate General Ciudad Juarez, Homeland Security Investigations, the FBI, and the El Paso CBP Office of Field Operations.
