A new report claims that the Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI ) background check concerning Pete Hegseth, President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for U. S. secretary of defense, has been viewed by two senators on the Senate Armed Services Committee and is “unremarkable”.

Roger Wicker (R-Miss. ), who is the only Senate Armed Services Committee member to have reviewed Hegseth’s FBI file, which was presented to the committee last week, is reported by Punchbowl News. and Sen.
