Maybe it’s not politics that dies in shadow. Perhaps it’s a bad, distorted news that dies in the cold because it can’t afford to pay its energy costs.

Yet if Jeff Bezos is the user.
If you’re reading this article, next the Washington Post has been an extremely far-left release all your life. A Republican candidate for president has never been endorsed by the sheet. It has engaged with GOP officials, most notably Richard Nixon in the 1970s, and Post writers like Woodward and Bernstein have since become progressive images. Next, in 2016, the report opted to double down on the Trump anger, transforming the Washington Post from a leftwing report that reported on politicians to a one-dimensional, over-the-top PR program for wild anti-Trumpers.
Before that, the report had cheerlead for the remaining and destroy the proper, but in its heart of hearts, it was still a media store. It was in the information business, it reported on the news.  ,
But after the rise of MAGA, the vision changed. Trump was a dangerous monster that needed to be destroyed, so it was no longer enough to update the situation. He’s a hypocrite, a deceitful gentleman, and a young dictator!  , In fact, he’s such an existential threat to the planet, that if all the good liberals fail to stand up to him, then you know what’ll happen: ( Say it with me! ) ” Democracy dies in shadow”!
For a while, the technique paid earnings. The Trump administration was like manna from heaven for democratic stores. MSNBC soared in the rankings. By the end of the first Trump word, the Washington Post had surpassed 22.5 million regular customers.  ,
And today?
Well, then we don’t understand. As SEMAFOR reported:

After seeing a 60 % decline in monthly traffic, Washington City Paper reported that the Post had stopped making its traffic numbers public available in press releases.  ,
So its recent figures are a mystery.
But we know that by the middle of 2024, the Washington Post’s regular customers plummeted to just 2.5 to 3 million people. That’s almost a 90 % loss from their top of 22.5 million.
That’s why it’s no surprise that the Washington Post’s year-to-year revenue dropped by$ 16 million in 2024. It’s simple cause and effect: Advertisers pay a subscription to reach an audience. When an site’s market shrinks, so does its advertising revenue.
Keep in mind, that the Post lost$ 16 million in revenue, despite the sky-high inflation rate. Amazingly, the inflationary problems of” Bidenomics” are really underselling the amount of the Post’s problems.
Liberal supporters will try to refute the Post’s claim that Kamala Harris ‘ 2024 support was to blame for the audience’s decline. ( The paper declined to endorse anyone, obviously, it’d NEVER endorse Trump. ) But cratering from 22.5 million to only 2.5 million didn’t happen immediately: This mass exodus of visitors was four much years in the making.
This wasn’t the consequence of any one choice. Instead, it was the pinnacle of ALL the choices.
Including the determination to brand itself as knee-jerk, 100 % anti-Trump, cloaking itself in naive, self-aggrandizing phrases like” Democracy dies in shadow”!
Because politics didn’t die in shadow. The idea was immoral.

The American people became aware that something else was happening in the dark: A brain-dead president was being propped, coddled, and promoted by an extremely foolish media after Joe Biden sputtered and stalled on national TV during his 2024 political controversy. And the Washington Post was particularly innocent, since their specialty is, presumably, the people and places in Washington, D. C.
It lied to us about Biden’s state. A fabricated statement is still a rest.
And then, the same document that couldn’t tell whether or not the leader was decrepit wants to get our go-to resource for reality, information, and appropriate storytelling? Yeah, painful go on that one.
Ironically, the Washington Post isn’t the only leftwing internet store that’s fallen on hard times. MSNBC’s scores have likewise collapsed, losing 55 % of its people between November and December.
This means that the main retailers working to derail Trump will all be weakened when he takes office in a year. He’s ascending while they’re declining. The two trendlines are moving in opposition and squatting like boats at evening.
Nighttime, of training, is usually dark. But that doesn’t think politics is gonna death!
Because this time, it was greatest before the sun.
And now it’s night again in America.
