The Senate Armed Services Committee held a confirmation hearing for Pete Hegseth’s defence minister election on Tuesday, and as expected, Democrats tried to turn it into a high-wire rodeo.
Throughout the more than four-hour-long proceeding, the agency’s communist people used every available option to deception Hegseth and make perfect fools of themselves.
Sen. Tim Kaine. D-Va. — Hillary Clinton’s 2016 going partner — tried to perform a shameful conscience stunt about the sanctity of marriage, while Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich., huffed about “qualifications” and posed failed “gotcha” issues. And who could overlook the screeching, vile tirades from the agency’s adult Democrat senators, many of whom triumphantly displayed their crazed obsessions with sending women into fight?
Compare this with the actions of Republican lawmakers, who generally asked questions related to issues impacting America’s military. Hegseth answered questions about topics such as the company’s recruiting problems, military equipment problems, the harmful effects of neo-Marxist ideologies on military preparation, and more. In contrast to their Democratic counterparts, many of these GOPers received replies from Hegseth regarding issues that are important to regular Americans.
But Democrats ‘ expulsion of important issues affecting U. S. national surveillance isn’t surprising. They frequently ignored the Biden administration’s concerns about the security and military in order to advance their social goals.
Democrats were unconcerned when the Biden presidency left billions of dollars worth of defense technology in Afghanistan that the Taliban afterwards acquired, or when a Chinese spy bubble soared across the continental United States to collect data from military bases, fired more than 8,400 service members for failing to get the Covid shot, left the southern border wide open, left the MIA for days without telling the White House, or did nothing of consequence when Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin went MIA for days without telling the White House, or committed many different mistakes in
Democrats ‘ Tuesday theatrics had nothing to do with their alleged reservations about Hegseth’s character or “qualifications,” but rather had to do with their opposition to the systemic reform he’ll implement at the Pentagon.
Unlike his predecessors, Hegseth is not beholden to the military-industrial complex. He is a man from outside the system who has fought in the endless wars that many politicians and bureaucrats in D.C. lack the courage to fight, and he is aware of the frustrations of the service members who have been let down by this lack of leadership.
Much to Democrats ‘ dismay, Hegseth’s nomination promises bold, long-overdue reforms. This includes rooting out DEI, firing incompetent and “woke” officers, ensuring U. S. tax dollars are put to good use, and reviving a service that prospective recruits will want to join. In essence, he wants to make America’s military “great again”.
Democrats ‘ antics are an outward demonstration of their opposition to a third party head the Pentagon ( or any other government agency, for that matter ). It makes no difference if Hegseth’s confirmation leads to more effective forces and victories in battle. They will say or do anything to maintain the status quo, which is what matters most to them.
