Israel and Hamas have been negotiating a cease-fire/hostage release package for several weeks. Hassa had come close to agreeing to a deal just to stifle negotiations and prevent the package from being possible, as is its terrible habit.

It was purposefully callous to hostage families. The strategy was employed to impose the most pressure on Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, and impose a deal that would benefit the extremists.
Most foreign observers dismissed the danger as usual Trump bravado when Donald Trump warned a week ago that” all heaven would tear out” if Hamas ‘ victims weren’t released by his opening.  ,
” It will not be good for Hamas, and it will not be good, openly, for people. There will be no end to heaven. I don’t have to declare again, but that’s what it is”, Trump said on January 7.
It didn’t appear pretty “bombastic” to me. Although how Trump was” all devil break out” can only be imagined, it sounded like a statement of fact.
At the time, Trump’s choose to offer as special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, was positive.
” It’s the chairman, his popularity, the points that he has said that are driving this dialogue, and so maybe it’ll all work away, and we’ll keep some existence”, Witkoff told CNN.
According to The New York Times, significant progress has been made in negotiating a captive release agreement and the last 48 hours.
After more than 15 weeks of captives being held that, Israel and Hamas appeared close to reaching an agreement, according to the Qatari government’s statement on Tuesday.
Negotiators had “managed to reduce a lot of the disputes between both celebrations”, Majed al-Ansari, the Qatari Foreign Ministry official, told writers. He claimed that the discussions on Tuesday centered on” the last details of reaching an agreement.”

There’s more at work than simply Trump’s mysterious warning, of course. Israel has smashed Hamas to shreds, destroying most of its arms and hundreds of its soldiers. More significantly, it has destroyed its management cadres, making it very difficult for the extremists to recover their business. Furthermore, Hamas supporters Iran and Hezbollah have been significantly weakened.
According to Majed al-Ansari, a spokeswoman for the Qatari foreign ministry, the two parties are maddeningly close to reaching a deal.
” We believe that we are at the final stages, but until we have an news — there will be no news”, said al-Ansari.
Zionist leaders said to reporters on Monday night that they believed the negotiations were on the verge of a resolution. In a statement, Mr. Biden claimed that the cease-fire and captive agreement was “on the verge of finally coming to fruition.”
William J. Burns, the C. I. A. chairman, and Brett McGurk, a top White House official, have crisscrossed the Middle East, pressing for a milestone in the discussions. Steve Witkoff, Mr. Trump’s pull for Middle East minister, has even made visits to Qatar and Israel, meeting with major officials it.
” Come let our victims to be set free. I want to view them walking across the road, or at a minimum, some type of contract before opening because President Trump is critical”, Waltz said.
Any offer will only get worse for Hamas, and if we continue to practice this kind of prisoner diplomacy, there will be heaven in the Middle East, Waltz added.
Hamas might also pull off a stunt like Charlie Brown’s pulling the football aside as Lucy pulls it off. However, it won’t possible strengthen its position if it waits to deal with Trump rather than Biden.
