Red Dye No. 3 has been linked to cancer in pets. The colour is bright red peach, giving beverages and foods a bright red plum flavor.

Companies can still use eight approved colors ( for the time being ): Azure No. 1, Blue No. 2, Green No. 3, Orange B, Red 40, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, and Citrus Red.  ,
