On Tuesday, the Department of Justice for the Biden-Harris administration publicly released the first volume of original Special Counsel Jack Smith’s most recent statement on the national election interference case involving President-elect Donald Trump.

After an initial keep was placed on the release of the document, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland released the first level of Smith’s statement on the election meddling event at 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

In a letter to Merrick Garland that came with his last statement, Smith defended the accusations that the Biden administration or other political figures had influence over his choices.” The say that Mr. Trump made these decisions is ridiculous,” Smith wrote in a statement.

Smith added,” Trump’s cases represented ones’ in which the offense]was ] the most flagrant, the public harm the greatest, and the proof the most certain.'”

Smith acknowledged that the prosecution of Trump was unable to prosecute the allegations that were brought against him, but he added that his organization still supports its decision to file criminal charges against him in the wake of the contentious 2020 election. In the report, Smith claimed Trump “resorted to a series of criminal efforts to retain power” after the 2020 presidential election.

Smith argued that the Justice Department’s stance regarding the Constitution’s prohibition against the” continued indictment and prosecution of a President is categorical and does not turn on the gravity of the crimes charged, the strength of the Government’s proof, or the merits of the prosecution, which the Office stands fully behind”.

Smith’s report added,” Indeed, but for Mr. Trump’s election and imminent return to the Presidency, the Office assessed that the admissible evidence was sufficient to obtain and sustain a conviction at trial”.

The president-elect wrote a statement on Truth Social after the first volume of Smith’s final report on the investigation into Trump, stating that” Deranged Jack Smith was unable to successfully prosecute the Political Opponent of his” Boot,” and that this information was illegally deleted and deleted because it demonstrated how completely innocent I was and how completely guilty Nancy Pelosi, and others, were.

Trump claimed that Smith is a “lamebrain prosecutor” who was not able to get the election interference case tried in court prior to the 2024 election “landslide” and emphasized,” THE VOTERS HAVE SPOKEN!! “!

In another post, Trump wrote,” To show you how desperate Deranged Jack Smith is, he released his Fake findings at 1: 00 A. M. in the morning. He claimed that the Unselect Committee “illegally destroyed and deleted all of the evidence”?
