Nelle Diala, a former Alaska Airlines flight attendant, lost her job as a result of a popular TikTok videos showing her as in her dress. Before being fired for violating the airline’s social internet policies, Diala had been employed by the airport for just over six months.
The 20-second party movie was shot early in the morning while Diala was waiting for the commander to reach and observing the conclusion of her temporary time as a new use, according to the New York Post. In the movie, she allegedly performed a success dance as part of the party. The classic TikTok message read,” Ghetto Till I Die, Don’t Let the Uniform Fool You”. Some people demanded her departure because they thought it was inappropriate for someone wearing an airline uniform.
However, Diala’s pleasure was short-lived as Alaska Airlines terminated her employment only six weeks into her lease. The flight operator, who feels she did nothing wrong, is upset by the choice.
Diala after reposted the movie with fresh commentary, saying, “Can’t actually be yourself again without the world being thus sensitive. What’s wrong with a little twerk before job”? She claims she was fired without a proper opportunity to explain her side of the story using the tweet #discriminationisreal.
” I never thought a second minute had cost me everything”, said Diala, as quoted by View From The Wing. ” Losing my job was devastating”.
Diala’s enthusiasm for her work as a flight attendant contributed to the funding of her corset and dessert line. According to a statement from View From The Wing, she is currently looking for new career while raising$ 12, 000 in GoFundMe gifts. By Wednesday morning, the fundraising campaign had raised$ 182 of its$ 12, 000 purpose.
Diala acknowledges that posting the film was a mistake, but she maintains that she did not intend to cause any harm and did not mention her company in the caption. She was taken aback by the abrupt dismissal, and she continues to aspire to pursue an aircraft career.
” I’ve often been cautious about what I article, and I always thought this film would cost me my job”, Diala said, as quoted by View From The Wing.
In the meantime, she plans to concentrate more on her clothing and snack projects.
