Since yesterday’s confirmation hearings, there has been a little simmering, and while Adam Schiff seems to be paying attention to his Fyi and Qs, a sizable number of House Democrats have remained as agenda-driven and obstinate as always. The Preventing Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act was passed by the House on Thursday by a ballot of 274 to 145.

Any estimates who the 145 were? The GOP, according to The Washington Examiner, had 61 Democrats in the bill’s pursuit in the entire cast. If the bill, which Nancy Mace (R-S. C. ) introduced, becomes law, illegal aliens who have been convicted of sex crimes and acts of violence against women and children would be deported. Even the most fervent supporters of illegal immigration might be able to support a costs like this, one might think. One might speculate that there are also many illegal aliens who had back it. After all, the U. S. does not need any more sexual criminals. But 145 Progressives did not believe.
After being given a minute chance to protect women and girls from fugitives who r*pe, m*lest, and m*rder them, 145 Democrats have a lot of explaining to do after being given a second chance to protect them from laborers. photograph. twitter.com/lm9oP6ibcr— Rep. Nancy Mace ( @RepNancyMace ) January 16, 2025
According to Fox News, Mace strongly argued that the costs needed to be passed during the discussion:
A terrible number of illegal immigrants have brutally raped British women and girls, ravaging our nation. I am aware of the lasting, irreversible scarring these horrible crimes leave behind.

The House Democrats who opposed the bill used the most flimsy excuses, saying it would hurt victims of domestic abuse who would choose to fight back and expand the description of abuse to include those individuals.  ,
The act, which has the enthusiastic support of Elon Musk, is on its way to the Senate. In order for components to be able to cast their ballots, Musk has requested that the titles of those who voted against the bill be made public as a record. One of those House members was, unsurprisingly, Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash. ).
During conversation on the act Thursday night, progressive Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., said the bill “does absolutely nothing to address the needs of the British people” and “widens the bridge to Donald Trump’s mass deportation ideas”.
Jayapal claimed in   that it would” create a chilling influence for reporting potential crimes” and that it would “empower perpetrators to go after immigrant women and children.”
If you find Jaypal’s rationale flawed, that is possible because she isn’t employing any reasoning. Voting for the costs may have indicated that the Biden administration’s immigration laws, or, more correctly, total absence thereof, have significantly increased the risk to women and children in this country, despite the need to maintain the importation of illegal immigrants to copy America in the Democrats ‘ image.  ,

Jayapal and her supporters in the government and across the nation have made Mace’s costs a necessity. They may even meet their rivals in the middle in this regard, and they all concur that arrests are necessary. This is not an issue of these Democrats being tone-deaf or confused. This is absolute arrogance and arrogance, and it is horrible and dangerous.
