The new GOP rulers of West Virginia and Indiana signed executive orders on Tuesday that essentially forbid the implementation of neo-Marxist laws throughout their individual governments.

Citing the U. S. Supreme Court’s 2023 choice barring racial activity in institutions of higher learning, Indiana Gov. Mike Braun ordered that all provincial agencies” shall never use state funds, property, or resources” to help so-called “diversity, equity, and inclusion positions, departments, activities, procedures or programs if they grant preferential treatment based one person’s special race, color, ethnicity, or national origin, over that of another person”.

As The Federalist previously&nbsp, reported, DEI is a corrosive left-wing platform that dismisses significance and rather discriminates based on characteristics such as skin colour and sex. People who meet structurally preferred intersectional standards are frequently rejected in favor of those who meet the organization’s goal of being more “diverse” but who do not meet the criteria for a particular position on merit.

Braun’s law prohibits Hoosier State companies from using funds and resources to sanction people to join in DEI-related workshops, give DEI-related statements, or “disclose their pronouns”. All agencies are also required to “initiate a evaluation” of all DEI-related “positions, sections, activities, procedures or programs” to confirm compliance with the above Supreme Court decision.

The state’s chief equity, inclusion, and opportunity office was also eliminated under the order.

Much like Braun’s edict, West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey’s order similarly bars entities that receive state funds from utilizing monies and resources to subsidize DEI-related positions, activities, and programs that “grant preferential treatment based on one person’s race, color, sex, ethnicity, or national origin over that of another”. Additionally, these organizations are prohibited from disclosing their pronouns, requiring employees to make DEI-related statements for the purposes of employment, or euthanizing individuals who take a “loyalty oath” in favor of a particular race or gender.

Members of Morrisey’s cabinet and all department heads were similarly required to initiate a review of all DEI-related positions, activities, and programs under their watch. The governor is then required to review their findings and come up with a strategy to get rid of all the items they discover.

One of the GOP governors ‘ several signings since taking office this month was two that Braun and Morrisey made to crack down on the widespreadness of neo-Marxist ideology in state governments.

According to one of the orders signed by Braun, all state employees must return to full-time in-person employment by July 1. The measure was taken in response to Braun’s Republican predecessor’s decisions to give state employees more remote working flexibility during the Covid outbreak.

Morrisey also issued a medical-related executive order, which authorizes religious exemptions for school vaccine mandates.
