Another year of the Salient ‘ snowbirding between Delaware and Pennsylvania, a list of political mistakes to reflect on. Last January, we brought you” A Crisis For Every Month: The Worst Debacles, Disgraces, And ( Literal ) Train Wrecks Of Biden’s Third Year”, and this year, we’ve survived to the final installment.
Given that the exhausted president isn’t evidently overseeing much of anything, Joe Biden’s annual list of crises that he oversees runs the risk of giving him too much credit. More shocking or then, Biden’s year has been marred by humiliations and disgraceful than significant events. His greatest victory of the year is a tossup between avoiding a 25th Amendment resignation and staying dead. But his numerous displays of incompetence ( and potential incontinence )? With significantly more power over the past four years, the state has suffered just as much as his teammates ‘ failures this time.
With that, here are the worst days Joe crapped the pillow, stumbled, fell on his face, and took a wrong change— besides all the times he did those things actually.
January: Attempting to” not uphold the border”
The state of Texas stationed National Guard troops in Eagle Pass and installed razor wire to hinder illegal border crossings after the Biden presidency refused to stop the wave of illegal immigration over the Texas-Mexico border. Instead of thanking the Texas National Guard for the support or being embarrassed into doing its work, the Biden presidency begged the U. S. Supreme Court to make Texas quit doing the abandoned government ‘ work for them and sent Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton a cease and desist text.
DHS claimed Texas “hampered” its ability to carry out borders protection. However, DHS did their job of preventing migrants from crossing improperly, as The Federalist’s Margot Cleveland observed, rather than “facilitating improper access and use the house to process the workers.” The Biden administration was so desperate to stop Texas from securing the frontier, its officials cut the razor wire Texas had erected along the border and fought for the right to do so in jury when Texas objected.
An Elderly Guy with a Poor Memory, from February.
After his own mishandled classified documents were discovered in several insecure locations at his home and abroad after his FBI raided the home of past president Donald Trump in 2022 in search of classified documents. It looked so terrible for Biden to get away with the same supposed murder he was prosecuting his father for, that Biden’s DOJ tapped a particular guidance to probe whether or not they may even sue Biden.
In a report released in February, Special Counsel Robert Hur admitted to Biden’s mental faculties, which was equally scathing as the DOJ’s decision to not pursue its boss. Because Biden came across as a” friendly, well-meaning, old gentleman with a poor storage,” Hur opted not to prosecute him despite data that indicated that he “willfully retained” classified data and “willfully disclosed” it to a writer.
” It would be difficult to convince a judge that they should convict him—by therefore a former president also into his eighties—of a serious misdemeanor that requires a psychological condition of willfulness”, Hur continued. The document established what Americans could see with their own sight: that Joe Biden’s mental wasn’t completely absent.
A Mishandled Nod to Laken Riley and an Apology for her murderer are in March.
Exactly two months before Biden’s 2024 State of the Union address, a Georgia medical student named Laken Riley was murdered while jogging by an improper humanoid who was released into the United States by Biden’s immigration authorities. Her death served as an example of the numerous murders, murders, and other offences committed in British towns by unvetted immigrants.
Republicans pressed Trump to acknowledge Riley and her home ahead of the State of the Union. She went unmentioned in Biden’s tackle until Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene interrupted his talking about the frontier to inquire:” What about Laken Riley”?
Biden admitted butchering Riley’s first label, and Lincoln Riley, an honest young woman who was killed by an illegal. ” That’s correct. But how many of thousands of people are being killed by legals”?
Biden followed up the off-scripted statement by telling MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart that he regretted calling Riley’s criminal an “illegal” instead of regretting that his open border policies had allowed her to enter the United States and her school city of Athens, Georgia.
Biden said,” I shouldn’t have used illegally; I should have because it’s undocumented.” ” Look, they built the state”.
Easter Sunday being designated as Transgender Day in April.
On Easter Sunday, as Christians prepared to commemorate the resurrection of Christ and His triumph over sin and death, Biden made a new, fictitious trip known as” Transgender Day of Visibility.”
” ]W] electronic respect the incredible courage and accomplishments of transgender Americans”, Biden said in a statement, before indicating his support for filling schools with sexually explicit books and dosing gender dysphoric babies with sterilizing estrogen or amputating their healthy body parts.
The White House tried to prevent injury by insisting that Trans Visibility Day is observed “every time” and that this year’s date just so happened to be Easter. However, nobody was fooled by the Biden administration’s contempt for Christians while the same administration tried to imprison peaceful pro-lifers and target traditional Catholic congregations as potential” Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists” ( Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists ) ).
( After his” Proclamation on Transgender Day of Visibility”, Biden threw up a statement about Easter, too. When compared to the 639-word speech celebrating transsexuals, it was written with all the religious precision and heartfelt conviction of a Hallmark cards.
May: Trump Convicted, Hardest Hits by the Rule of Law
One of Biden and the Democrats ‘ biggest promotion methods of 2024 was attempting to make a fugitive out of his opponent, Donald Trump. The objective was to have Trump imprisoned or at least made a” convicted criminal” in the media, from Biden’s Justice Department to his own neighborhood district attorneys in Manhattan and Georgia who also happened to include links to the Biden administration.
A deep-blue Manhattan jury found Trump guilty of a crime that no one could actually explain in May, which experts agreed was the most ridiculous of the numerous stupid law-abuse cases brought against him. The event revolved around a settlement Trump made to his attorney, who had paid a sexual film actress as part of a prenuptial agreement. Democratic D. A. Alvin Bragg somehow persuaded jurors that the election had been essentially stolen.
Biden, whose former number. 3 at the Justice Department magically showed up on Bragg’s team to” jump start” the prosecution of Biden’s opponent, was also overseeing two prosecutions of Trump by his own Justice Department. With Trump now in office, Biden has nothing to back up the campaign, aside from a few newspaper clippings that label him a felon, and yet the damage the lawfare campaign caused to the American justice system will be one of the darkest stains on the Biden presidency.
June: That Debate
June brought the first and only presidential debate Biden did this election cycle. He would end up dropping out of the race a month later because it was so bad. He sounded both agitated and sleepy while bug-eyed at something hidden behind the camera. The entire Democrat Party was in panic mode before Biden hobbled offstage, and would quickly succeed in pressuring ( threatening? ) Biden’s withdrawal from the race for president.
A Dropout and a Shootout in July
If 2024 was Biden’s worst year, July was his worst month, and July 21 was his worst day. Biden’s political career ended in a PR statement after battling for weeks to stay in the race following his disastrous debate. A member of Biden’s social media team posted a screenshot of a letter announcing his intention to end his reelection campaign to the president’s X account. Was he forced out with threats of invoking the 25th Amendment? At the time the statement was made public, did he even know about it? Did he spend the entire time napping?
July was also the month in which a series of Biden administration failures led to Biden’s presidential opponent getting shot in the head. According to The Federalist’s Sean Davis, Biden officials restricted Trump’s security resources, set up an obvious sniper perch outside the Butler, Pennsylvania rally, and secured no law enforcement personnel there. When a potential assassin waltzed onto it and fired a gun at Trump, the president was then shot off before neutralizing him when a would-be assassin waltzed onto him and the crowd.
August: Taking Credit for 800,000 Imaginary Jobs
The Biden administration loves to brag about its” job creation”, even if it’s jobs that were simply recouped after Democrats ‘ own pandemic-era lockdowns or jobs held by foreign-born employees who drive down wages for American workers. One of the arguments they have used to counteract Americans ‘ perceptions of the undisputed fact that Biden’s economy is much worse than it was under his predecessor is one they have frequently relied on.
One of the reasons it was so embarrassing in August was when Biden’s Bureau of Labor Statistics revealed that the administration had been given credit for” creating” 818, 000 jobs between March 2023 and March 2024 that had never actually existed. Like everything else about” Bidenomics”, the positive propaganda turned out to be fake.
Hurricane Victims in September in Northern California are still unaccounted for.
The rural and largely conservative communities of Western North Carolina were ravaged by a deadly hurricane named Helene in September. After days of silence, Biden finally faced reporters, only to tell them that the federal government had no more resources to send to residents whose homes and towns were decimated. While the storm battered North Carolina communities, Biden spent the weekend at the beach.
The Biden administration’s response only deteriorated from there. Locals told The Federalist in early October that Biden’s Federal Emergency Management Agency ( FEMA ) was simply” not there”. The Homeland Security Secretary of Biden acknowledged that FEMA, which had given illegal immigrant services more than$ 1 billion in the previous two years, was running out of money. The military assistance that was given to the similarly devastating Hurricane Katrina almost 20 years prior paled in comparison to the 1, 000 National Guard troops that were given by Biden.
October: Dismissing Half the Country as’ Garbage ‘
In response to a comedian’s joke about Puerto Rico at a Trump rally, Biden closed the month of October by saying that” the only garbage I see float out there is his]Trump’s ] supporters.”
Even the Democrats soon realized that calling half the nation human garbage was not a great closing campaign pitch, so White House staffers scrambled to refute the error by falsifying Biden’s speech transcript. The coverup didn’t work very well and may have run afoul of presidential records laws.
November: Being Dumped by the American People
What transpired in November is known to everyone. The guy Biden spent four years calling a threat to democracy won a resounding electoral victory. Although Biden may not have been running for president, the election never stopped being a referendum on his unpopular and unsuccessful presidency. In a victory so decisive, not even the Democrats ‘ ballot-gathering machine could save them, voters rejected Biden’s policies, his rhetoric, and his pea-brained prodigy.
December: A’ Get Out of Jail Free, Forever ‘ Card for Hunter
Biden gave Hunter blanket immunity as a major middle finger to the nation as he left. The pardon was granted for any “offenses against the United States” he had committed, may have committed, or participated in over a 10-year period, which just happened to begin right after Hunter was hired by the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma. For added insult, Biden spent the entire 2024 campaign season vowing to voters that he wouldn’t let his son off the hook, before pretending to have a miraculous change of heart as soon as Democrats had nothing more to lose from his corruption.
