In the midst of rumors that the couple might be going for marriage, former US President Barack Obama wished his family a happy birthday on Friday.
Barack Obama posted a photo on Instagram of the few having dinner together on Michelle’s day, evidently dispelling the speculations. He described her as” the love of my life,” and a picture of the few holding hands as they dined in a room filled with liquor containers later. ” Content day to the love of my life, @MichelleObama. You fill every room with heat, knowledge, fun, and kindness – and you look great doing it. I’m so blessed to have the opportunity to travel with you on life’s activities. Enjoy you”! the former leader wrote in a blog on his social media accounts.
Michelle responded to the request with a heart icon and an icon of a encounter blowing a kiss, apparently persuading the public that the couple were still together, as seen in the comments.
Some expressed their gratitude to the former first lady and expressed their understanding for not attending the inauguration’s holiday weekend. Some people were still persuaded, though, while examining the range and believing the smiles were false, and nitpicking the picture, calling it bogus or non-romantic. Many people just saw it as a way to refute the breakup rumors.
After it was revealed that Michelle would certainly go Donald Trump‘s inauguration on Monday, leaving Obama to attend the event by himself, debate about a possible rift between the couple started. She was later reported to be on vacation in Hawaii without her father, and she also missed Jimmy Carter‘s state funeral earlier this month due to a scheduling conflict. Since giving remarks at the Democratic Convention five months ago, the Obamas have not been seen up frequently in public.
A body language expert, Judi James, who examined the Presidency ‘ public appearance during their supper party in Los Angeles in December, fueled the debate even more. Without a dialogue between them, she observed that Barack had an awkward appearance and would rather move behind Michelle rather than beside her.
The expert noted that despite Michelle immediately displaying a calm and upbeat demeanor on their way to the car, there was no discernible lack of reciprocal interaction for the photographers. Upon entering the car, Michelle’s teeth disappeared, and both she and Barack gazed right away without engaging with each other.
Michelle Obama, 61, did attend the first Trump inauguration in 2017. Her absence from Jimmy Carter’s funeral raised eyebrows, particularly when Obama was seen engaging in friendly conversation with Trump at the event.
Former first girls Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush, as well as Joe and Jill Biden, are expected to attend the future opening. While no formal explanation has been provided for Michelle’s presence, she has been outspoken about her criticism of Trump, accusing him of prejudice during next week’s Democratic National Convention.
Additionally, she made the decision to forgo the opening, which is unusual given that Donald Trump and his partner Melania were excluded from Joe Biden‘s commencement four years ago as a result of Trump’s refusal to accept his vote defeat in 2020.
