The US Federal Aviation Administration ( FAA ) ordered an investigation into SpaceX‘s disintegration during its most recent test mission on Thursday and placed the spacecraft on its ground. The event occurred over the Caribbean, causing a fiery cascade of dirt.
Officials in the Turks and Caicos Islands canceled all flights and issued a warning to residents against touching fallen dirt because it might pose a risk.

The FAA requested from SpaceX to conduct a disaster research into the loss of the Starship auto during launch operations on January 16 according to a statement from the agency.
Before deciding whether the launch vehicle may return to flight, SpaceX will need to identify any preventative measures that the FAA will examine. The business may also ask for an early returning to flight after demonstrating enough safety measures and confirming that the incident posed no common risk.
The Turks and Caicos Islands state met with experts from the UK Space Agency, and it once more issued warnings to citizens to prevent falling debris. They advised people to take pictures of the things without touching them, putting emphasis on the fact that” Space debris remains the home of the aircraft proprietor.”
Despite the blast, SpaceX caught Starship’s first level boost in the” chopstick” hands of its build tower for the next day. Musser suggested that the blast allegedly resulted from an “oxygen/fuel hole” that exaggerated the pressure buildup. He added,” Little thus far suggests pushing next build past following month”.
Starship is key to Musk’s Mars vision interests. NASA intends to return to the Moon with a modified version of the jet as a mortal lunar spacecraft. This uncrewed start marked Starship’s sixth orbital test and second with an upgraded, taller jet type.
