The world’s skeptics are finally accepting that the National people, who are dressed in sackcloth and moaning about the democracy’s death, are not going to meet them in a seaside cave. And that includes CNN, which is a media community, as I believe it to be.  ,

Over the weekend, the community conducted a ballot, whose results were released on Thursday. 56 % of those polled said they thought Donald Trump may do “very good” or “fairly good” during his second term in office. The method Trump and his team had handled his return to the Oval Office has received fifty-five percent of his approval. The numbers above may have convinced CNN that it might want to start a conversation with the person they have loved and hated for about ten years. Not all of the responses were good for the administration. And that might involve some staff changes.
Former CNN writer Oliver Darcy is reporting on the status of the website that no one other than Jim Acosta, a major narcissist, and Trump agitator, may be heading for the nightfall slot, especially midnight to 2 a.m. EST. Acosta was taken by surprise by the plan, which presumably originated from Mark Thompson. Darcy writes:
He ( Acosta ) had no reason to believe that his current show would be cut short. In truth, his ratings have generally been some of the show’s strongest, both when he was anchoring on the vacation and now at 10am during the weekends. On some nights, Acosta yet out-rates some of CNN’s prime-time programs. So why would he have to move his program to the 12 am gambling, which is where virtually no additional cable news guests work? Acosta would be essentially sent to Siberia to watch television news. He would be operating a transition when popularity is at its lowest and the majority of the country is fast asleep.

Darcy said what the majority of you are currently thinking: Acosta was best known for provoking Trump and his team during his first name, and the country isn’t interested in the same kind of histrionics and aggressiveness that Acosta brought to his White House policy. Odds are, they weren’t in the mood for it during Trump’s final name either. It could be that CNN has suddenly decided to stop doing navel-gazing and concentrate on truth, which would be a nice change of pace.  ,
Of course, feats like this, which followed Biden’s self-aggrandizing farewell talk on Thursday, definitely do not support Acosta’s product.
Some last thoughts on tomorrow’s show … on the free press in America. The free media is only” crumbling” if we the people allow that to happen. See: photograph. twitter.com/m6AAgGyTGU— Jim Acosta ( @Acosta ) January 16, 2025
Good speech, Jim. Just out of curiosity, when did you, CNN, or any of your coworkers do any of those items? By all means, roll audio. Ironically, Acosta’s concrete illustrates how the legacy media has shown many people for the past eight years specifically why it can’t be relied upon to protect the public or” talk truth to power.” And ironically, I sincerely hope that is the last time we hear that hackneyed phrase for a while. It’s no question Thompson is ready to reconcile with Trump.

And if the grave casino doesn’t work out, I could quickly discover Acosta as the fresh Sham-Wow man. Look for the gold covering, Jim.
