U. S. Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens has been replaced at the federal law enforcement business, and the Trump presidency has selected Texas’s best border standard, Mike Banks, to load his shoes starting Monday.
Banks has signed on as the “border emperor” for Governor after working for the Border Patrol for two decades. Greg Abbott (R-TX ) was appointed two years ago to oversee the state and local law enforcement’s cooperation with the federal immigration and customs authorities ‘ Operation Lone Star border security initiative.
According to solutions with knowledge of the plans, Banks will be on the work the following year, despite the fact that Owens won’t physically leave the company for another three months.
Owens wrote a letter to a few coworkers informing them of his planned withdrawal in three months.
” On April 30th, I will withdraw from the United States Border Patrol”, Owens wrote in the text, which was obtained by the Washington Examiner. I’ll leave with a lot of hope for our country’s potential and its own. I’ll find solace in knowing that you are standing between the good and the evil on our front lines.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX ) called Banks’s appointment a “great choice”. Technically speaking, the Department of Homeland Security chose the person for the location rather than an interview.
In a response article on X, Cornyn wrote that “@TexasBorderCzar Mike Banks is a great choice by @realDonaldTrump to be the next U.S. Border Patrol key.” ” Nothing understands the frontier much than , Texans. Mike served , @GovAbbott &,  , the Lone Star , State also &, I have no fear that he will , do the same , up at the Border Patrol”.
. @realDonaldTrump made the excellent decision to replace Mike Banks as the next U.S. Border Patrol chief.
Texans are the only ones who comprehend the border much.
Mike served @GovAbbott &, the Lone Star State well &, I have no doubt that he will do the same back at the Border … https ://t.co/HDbRKjFaIu
