A fire that occurred next to a sleep subway passenger and started three different fires in New York City has been the subject of a manhunt led by police.
In a Wednesday article on X, previously Twitter, the New York Police Department explained that an “unidentified person” started a fire at about 2: 20 a. m. on January 10 near 254 Broadway, which damaged a “marked NYPD crisis car”. Soon after the first fire occurrence, the suspect started a second fireplace near 14 Murray Street at approximately 2: 35 a. m. According to police officials, the subsequent fire resulted in damage to an empty vehicle.
The suspect set a paper bowl on fireplace and threw it into a garbage can near the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall train station at around 2:55 a.m., according to the New York Police Department. According to The New York Post, police on Thursday were still looking for the suspect in arson. The report also noted that Crime Stoppers has provided a$ 3,500 reward for information on the arson incidents.
