President-elect Donald Trump and his family landed in the Washington, D. C., area on Saturday night as joyful events surrounding his inauguration on Monday are currently live.
On Trump’s plan for Saturday evening is a welcome dinner with lights at his golf club in Sterling, Virginia, which is about 30 yards from Washington. He even has a greeting with his Cabinet contenders, many of whom had sessions before the Senate this week, and Vice President-elect J. D. Vance.

Finally on Sunday, Trump did visit Arlington National Cemetery, where he will go the wreath-laying service at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. He did speak at a candlelit dinner at Capital One Arena in Washington, as well as a MAGA protest there.
All of that makes way for Inauguration Day on Monday, which was moved home due to the anticipated windy conditions. Trump will then give his inaugural address from the Capitol Rotunda.
