Former President Joe Biden took a farewell shot at President Donald Trump before departing Washington, D. C. , for California and embarking on his career as a secret member.

In a goodnight talk at Joint Base Andrews, attended by former Secretary of State Antony Blinken and his White House chief of staff Jeff Zients, Biden encouraged his assistants to be engaged, whether it be in the public or private business.
“We’ve a lot more to do, ” Biden told the audience Monday. “We heard the inaugural handle now. We have a lot more to accomplish. ”
Biden next gestured the sign of the cross during remarks in which he expressed his gratitude on behalf of himself and former first lady Jill Biden after four years in the White House but half a decade in Washington. He added, “It’s been the pride of my career to assist as your president, ” but “the greater pride is being able to assist with all of you. ”
“We’re leaving office, but we’re not leaving the fight, ” he said. “You’re smart, you’re skilled , you’re excited. Remain engaged in all the ways you can. I give you my expression. We believe in you. ”
Joe Biden sat behind Trump during his inaugural address inside the Capitol Rotunda and smirked at periods as Trump described the next four years under a Democrat Party-controlled White House in dark conditions.
In a not-so-subtle killed at Joe Biden, Trump said, “ From this time on, America’s reduction is over. ”
Joe Biden implored his advisers to take some time to relax and interact with their families and friends before reengaging and “upholding key beliefs. ”

“No leader gets to choose the time they enter past, ” the 46th president said. “ But they get to choose the group they enter record with. ”
He continued, “Mark my words: Story is going to determine what you ’ve done as the most significant contributions that ’s been made for all of America. ”
