Donald Trump’s opening on Monday did see some important numbers skipping the event. Former first lady Michelle Obama and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have both announced they won’t get attending in Washington, New York Times information.
Michelle Obama even did n’t go past President Jimmy Carter’s death earlier this month. Pelosi, a vocal critic of Trump during his first name, will also be missing, though no cause for her absence has been given.
Several House Democrats, including Representatives Adam Smith ( Washington ), Judy Chu ( California ), Delia Ramirez ( Illinois ), Don Beyer ( Virginia ), Steve Cohen ( Tennessee ), Jasmine Crockett ( Texas ), Ilhan Omar ( Minnesota ), and Veronica Escobar ( Texas ), have also confirmed they won’t be attending.

Political Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared to suggest in a movie that she would n’t go Donald Trump’s commencement, referring to him as a “rapist. ”
Important world leaders won’t be manifest either.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had a close relation with Trump during his first name, may be represented by physical affairs secretary S Jaishankar.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, invited but won’t attend, may remain represented by his assistant Han Zheng.

Vice leader Kamala Harris, who ran against Trump in the 2024 poll, will also be there. Former first girls Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton did meet their families at the celebration.
Many world leaders have confirmed they’ll participate, including Argentina’s President Javier Milei and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
From the software world, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and Shou Chew will also be manifest.
The opening ceremony did feature performances by country superstar Carrie Underwood, musical song Christopher Macchio, and singer-songwriter Lee Greenwood.
