With time left until President-elect Donald Trump is inaugurated, Biden announced proactive clemency for Milley, Fauci, and the people and testimony of the former Jan. 6 commission. However, none of these consumers have any claims pressed against them.
“If there is anyone who socially prosecuted someone, it was — it was the Democrats who did this to President Donald Trump. But what I do say is, why do they need a reprimand if they did n’t would something wrong? What did they do? ” Malliotakis said Monday on Fox Business ’s Mornings with Maria Bartiromo. “And in terms of these commutations, it just seems to me if they don’t do something bad why do you need this forgive? Because we were not party that targeted individuals, our political criticism. That is what Democrats did to President Trump to try to kill him personally, properly, and economically. ”
“We’ll see how it plays up. I think pretty telling that they felt they needed to give this pardon, ” Malliotakis said.
Biden cited “ongoing threats and harassment ” in a statement as a reason behind the clemency.
“The release of these pardons should not be mistaken as an affirmation that any specific engaged in any wrong, nor may embrace be misconstrued as an admission of grief for any offence. Our society owes these people servants a debts of thanks for their tireless dedication to our country, ” Biden said.

Yet before these commutations were issued, Biden set a record in national clemency, pardons, and clemencies affecting over 4,200 people. Among them was his brother , Hunter Biden, whom he pardoned from the national weapons and tax fraud beliefs, including those acts he “may had committed or taken piece in” dating back to 2014.
Both Fauci and Milley publicly thanked Biden for their particular clemency.
