NEW DELHI: Representing India as the special minister of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, physical affairs secretary Dr S Jaishankar expressed his respect in attending the opening of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States.
“Privileged to indicate as outside interests secretary and special minister of PM at the swearing-in meeting of the 47th President of the United States of America now in Washington DC, ” he wrote.

Alongside the information, he posted a picture with other foreign officials at the US Capitol and another with Vivek Ramaswamy.
Earlier, Dr Jaishankar participated in the Inauguration Day Prayer Service at St John’s Church, a standard event held before the political opening.
The incoming President Donald Trump, accompanied by his family Melania Trump, attended the worship services at St John’s Episcopal Church. They were joined by evil president-elect JD Vance and his partner, Usha Vance. Following the company, outgoing President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden officially welcomed the Trumps at the North Portico of the White House.
The standard opening meeting will start with evil president-elect JD Vance taking the oath of office, followed by Donald Trump’s swearing-in as President. After taking the oath, President Trump will give his inaugural address.
