Donald Trump’s Pentagon get Pete Hegseth faced a big hindrance in the way of his assurance after his original sister-in-law submitted an oath to lawmakers who may quickly vote to either confirm or reject Pete Hegseth. Danielle Hegseth ( Dietrich ) who was married to Pete’s brother alleged that Pete Hegseth made his second wife “fear for her safety” during their marriage between 2010 and 2010.
The second woman in question is Samantha Deering who refuted the claims.
Samantha said there was no real misuse in her wedding.
“There was no physical abuse in my marriage, ” she said, according to NBC. “This is the only more speech I will render to you, I have let you know that I am not speaking and will not talk on my relationship to Pete. Choose regard this choice. ”
Tim Parlatore, a solicitor for Pete Hegseth, also rejected the claims.
“Sam has previously alleged that there was any misuse, she signed court papers acknowledging that there was no abuse and just reaffirmed the same during her FBI interview. Belated states by Danielle Dietrich, an anti-Trump much left Democrat who is divorced from Mr Hegseth’s brother and always got along with the Hegseth community, do nothing to change that, ” he said in a statement.
Pete Hegseth’s prosecutor said Hegseth’s past sister-in-law had an axe to crush against the whole Hegseth home after her breakup with Hegseth’s sibling. “Ms Dietrich admits that she saw nothing but is now fraudulently accusing Sam of lying to both the Court and to the FBI because of exclusive, illegal claims that she reportedly made 10 years back,” Pete Hegseth’s attorney said.
Pete Hegseth has been married thrice: first with Meredith Schwarz ( 2004-2009 ), then with Samantha ( 2020 to 2017 ) and now with Jennifer Rauchet.
Pete Hegseth’s senatorial verification is an uphill struggle for him as he was grilled during the reading over his previous perform that included allegations of intoxicated fight, paying for sex etc. Hegseth said the physical action was a lawful one and he was eventually blackmailed into paying. On claims of large drinking, Hegseth said he would stop eating as he assumes the role of defence minister in the fresh management.
