DEI lecturer Dante King ( pictured ) and the public university mutually agreed to cancel the class, “ Understanding the Roots of Racism and Bias: Anti-Blackness, and Its Links to Whiteness, White Racism, Privilege, and Power 2024 ,” The San Francisco Chronicle reports.
The two-day online continuing education program for skilled experts had been scheduled for February.
The purpose that King, who is African American, gave was reaction to his previous notes and texts, which some have described as discriminatory toward white folks.
The Chronicle pointed to a new content by the conservative media outlet Campus Reform about his upcoming group as a source of the condemnation:
UCSF, which has hosted King’s continuing-education course several times a month since 2021, gave no explanation for the turnaround. Officials said only that it ’s happening by joint agreement with King.
King said he and UCSF officials have agreed “that the attention the course is receiving could lead to more harm than good for me personally, for my family and for the (UCSF ) organization. So it was ideal, in this social moment — this historical moment — to break this relationship. ”
Last year, King gave a talk at UCSF about “ White Psychopathology, Collective Psychosis and Trauma in America, ” The College Fix reported at the time.
In a popular video created by Young America’s Foundation highlighting parts of the lesson, King said: “ Whites are narcissists. And their conduct represents an actual, medically transmitted predilection with roots deeply in their evolutionary story. ”
. @UCSF invited Dante King to converse on “Diagnosing Whiteness. ”
He claims that “whites are narcissists” and that bright folks “have it written in the law you may murder black people. ” He likewise makes mistakes for black youth who commit violent crimes.

King accused the traditional business of taking his notes out of perspective, but YAF director Spencer Brown defended the video tape.
“Selecting highlights is standard practice in social media exposés, ” Brown told The Chronicle. “Even in the whole context of the more than hour-long, university-sponsored altercation, it ’s apparent that Mr. King’s classes are clearly racist. ”
An artist and DEI speech, King has given courses at a number of popular organizations, including the Mayo Clinic and UCSF, in recent years. He also has worked with the San Francisco city authorities on “equity programs, ” according to the report.
After the YAF picture came up next February, the Mayo Clinic canceled King’s presentation deal, The Chronicle information.
King is the author of the book, “The 400-Year Holocaust: White America’s Legal, Psychopathic, and Sociopathic Black Genocide — and the Revolt Against Critical Race Theory. ”
In a post dated May 2023 on King’s website, he wrote that America “was legally and socially constructed by diabolical,# White, ‘ultra-religious ’ maniacs, and psychopathic sociopaths who assumed authority through treacherous acts of violence. ”
