President Donald Trump’s decision to release classified information about his grandfather’s murder, past president John F. Kennedy, was condemned by Jack Schlossberg.  ,
The government has for decades kept close to three thousand pages of JFK’s dying from the public, despite the controversy surrounding some of the details of the death that lasted for more than 60 years, stoking rumors, including from members of the Kennedy family, regarding what transpired on November 22, 1963.  ,
Schlossberg was not one of the community members who was pleased that Trump had chosen to disclose the content on Thursday. Instead, he took to social media to air grievances against the new president, accusing Trump of “using JFK as a political ball, when he’s not here to punch back” . ,
” There’s nothing noble about it”, Schlossberg said in a post to X.  ,
He even suggested he was currently briefed on the data, telling one X person,” I know anything…”
Schlossberg more indicated that the paperwork held no great upsets about the nature of his father’s death.  ,
The truth is much sadder than the story, and it was a tragedy that wasn’t necessary, according to” JFK crime ideas.” No part of an expected great scheme”, he said.  ,
Even before the categorized folders conversation, Schlossberg was no fan of Trump. A solid Democrat, he spoke out in aid of the government’s one-time arch nemesis, former Vice President Kamala Harris,  , during a speech at the Democratic National Convention in August 2024.  ,
Other members of the Kennedy family have come out as fervent supporters of efforts to discover more information about JFK’s death, in contrast to Schlossberg.  ,
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s nomination for secretary of Health and Human Services, praised the government’s professional get declassifying the Kennedy death records Thursday.  ,
” I think it’s a great move because they need to have more transparency in our state, and he’s keeping his promise to have the federal tell the truth to the American people about everything”, RFK Jr. told reporters.  ,
After Trump signed the professional order releasing the data, he directed RFK Jr. to receive the ink used.
The HHS nominee’s party came after he had long expressed doubts about the CIA’s involvement in his friend’s death as a result of his views on the Vietnam War.  ,
” There is overwhelming proof that the CIA was involved in his death”, RFK Jr. said during a 2023 meeting with radio talk show host John Catsimatidis. At this point,” I believe it to be beyond a reasonable doubt.”
” When my aunt was president, he was surrounded by a military-industrial advanced and intelligence machine that was constantly trying to get him to go to battle in Laos, Vietnam, etc. “, he continued. ” He refused. He claimed that the presidency’s task is to prevent war in the United States.
Schlossberg attacked his aunt for suggesting the CIA was involved in JFK’s murder during an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience in a movie that was posted on Instagram on Friday.
” Today, since Trump did the declassification, and RFK Jr. doesn’t hide behind that again, I think you should have him up on your show and ask him why he lied to everyone about how the CIA killed President Kennedy, and ask him if he went through all the paperwork”, Schlossberg said.
After the data were released, some authorities suggested they may show “embarrassing” to the CIA.
The author of Case Closed: Lee Harvey Oswald and the Assassination of JFK, Gerald Posner, said,” I think we may really get the data that the CIA has been holding onto for so long.”
