We’ve heard and seen a lot of things about how the Biden presidency handled the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, particularly in the mountains of North Carolina. We’re also aware of the depressing care Donald Trump’s followers in the Tarheel State received from FEMA.

One of Trump’s first objectives now that he is senator was to travel to North Carolina. The leader made a few remarks while he and First Lady Melania Trump were at the Fletcher, North Carolina, airport fire and rescue center.
Before flying to Los Angeles to assess fire harm, he first told the media and spectators that he wanted to visit North Carolina.
And one of the things that is very important to me and one of the factors I’m glad that we won thus favorably is that we helped North Carolina get fixed up.  , They supported us in record quantities, and I’m supporting them in record numbers to.
And they had me prearranged. I wanted to travel to Los Angeles to see what was happening in California and why they aren’t releasing the ocean.  , Millions and millions of gallons of water, they’re sending it out to the Pacific.  , Eventually, somebody’s going — going to explain that one.  , In the meantime, they have no waters in Los Angeles, where they had the issues.
But — consequently, we’re going it.  , But I said,” Well, what about North Carolina”?  ,” Well, you could do that la-” — “no, I didn’t”.  , I said,” We’re stopping in North Carolina second, and then we’re going to Los Angeles”.
And we just enjoy how much passion we’ve received from each other.

Trump claimed that Melania wanted to travel to North Carolina with him, and that she was also willing to travel to California. Residents of Tarheel State found her comforting, and she always looked beautiful and stylish.

The president expressed his anger with the Democrats ‘ care of the people of North Carolina, although he magnanimously exempted the country’s new governor, Josh Stein, from his condemnation.
” I want to suggest that we’re really upset in FEMA”, Trump said. ” Your new governor, it’s not his fault. He’s product novel to the whole scenario. But we’re going to operate together with the government. We’re going to work together with the — your legislators, but, actually, we’re going to work a bit with your representative, especially the three that are in the region, and] Republican National Committee seat and North Carolina native ] Michael Whatley. And I want to throw Michael in charge of making sure everything runs smoothly.

Trump complimented state and local authorities and heaped reward on Franklin Graham, whose business, Samaritan’s Purse, has provided much-needed aid in the area. The president called Graham a “good-looking man” and yet enthusiastically remembered his father, the later, excellent Billy Graham.
Trump promised to remove FEMA from the area and let the state and the Army Corps of Engineers to function together to restore the area.

But North Carolina is going to come back bigger, better, stronger than ever before, and you’re going to get very proud.
And you’ve already seen more activity than you’ve seen in the last three times, even though I’m aware that it actually started four days ago.  , And we’re going to get it together.
It’s uplifting and encouraging to see the senator providing the people of North Carolina with the help they sorely need and have been waiting for. Soon after Helene, then-candidate Trump was on the ground and making effective fundraisers in Georgia and different parts of the South.
Sarah Anderson, a friend and coworker, recently said in our PJ Media Slack channel,” I just had to tell someone that watching Trump and Melania tour N. C. ( what, four days into the job )” and meet with people and speak with the media, and he is walking around without her holding him in his hands, and she is hugging individuals, giving me the “vapors” after four years”!
