Lynn Ban, the apparel designer who worked with celebrities including Rihanna and Beyoncé and starred in Netflix’s” Bling Empire: New York”, has died.
Ban died Monday, her boy Sebastian announced Wednesday in a moving Instagram , speech. She died several weeks after having disaster brain surgery following a riding accident in December. She was 52.
She was and always will be my best friend, my best family, and someone who gave a damn about everything. She often had a smile on her face despite the difficult circumstances in her recovery approach,” Sebastian wrote. She was a warrior all her life, and she is the most powerful person I know.
Ban, her brother, continued, “was the funniest and best kid” who gave her life to her loved ones, including father and firm partner Jett Kain. Khan did not respond to The Times ‘ request for comment right away.
Born in Singapore, David Ban, a real estate developer, and Patricia Ban, a gemologist, were both born. She gained popularity for her 2011 launch of her own striking jewelry collection. In the next decades, high-profile stars including , Rihanna,  , Beyoncé,  , Lady Gaga,  , Kendrick Lamar , and , Madonna , sported Ban’s items. Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion were also among the celebrities wearing Ban’s models.

Ban’s jewellery and out-there private type earned her more than just a squad of faithful, A-list customers. She became a reality TV star as a result. She made her” Bling Empire: New York” debut in January 2023. The Netflix line was a subsidiary of the Los Angeles-based” Bling Empire.” The New York cast starred Ban, Dorothy Wang, Tina Leung, Blake Abbie, Stephen Hung, Deborah Valdez-Hung, Richard Chang and Vika Abby. Netflix , canceled both ,” Bling Empire” set in 2023.
On Wednesday Ban’s co-star Wang wrote in an Instagram , story , that “it has been tremendously difficult trying to think of anything delighted or beneficial to discuss today”.
” You are one in a billion”, Abbie remembered Ban on , Instagram, sharing pictures of sweet moments with his previous co-star.
Ban told Tatler in a , May 2023 interview , about her interests to further develop her own kingdom beyond apparel. She also discussed her theory regarding the preservation of old-style luxury items.
” Clothing have to have a career, a memory. Get out, get drunk, dancing. That’s what style is for me — you live in it”, she told the outlet.
A few weeks prior to her passing, Ban revealed the riding accident that took place while the home was away in Aspen, Colorado, on Instagram. She said she” face planted” after reaching the top of a hill. She went to a doctor for a CT scan, which revealed she had a mind burn, despite the fact that she could descend and ski patrol had determined she didn’t have a trauma.
” Next item I remember was being intubated and waking up after an incident craniotomy”, Ban , said in December.  , She acknowledged the “long path of recovery away” and branded herself a” survivor”.
Ban concluded her write-up:” Glad and blessed to see the innovative time”.
On Wednesday, Ban’s child wrote he was determined to maintain his family “is not forgotten” and her career “is celebrated as it deserves to be”.
He continued,” As a final message to my mother, I would just like to suggest that I may lose you forever and that I want to end in everything that she has always said,” I love you more than living itself,” mum.”
