The digital billionaire’s visit to Auschwitz drew sharp censure, with his author Seth Abramson calling him a” megalomaniac” after another dismissed the visit when only a promotion exercise.
” This is totally chilling”, he posted on Thursday. ” He really is a sociopath”.
Following a contentious movement made during his speech following the new president’s inauguration, which some observers thought was a Nazi salute, the billionaire has come under new accusations of antisemitism.
While Musk’s Auschwitz explore has been cited to store these complaints, he has rejected the Nazi analogies as “pure propaganda”, though he eventually posted Nazi-related gags on his X system.
When Julie Gray, the lover of 89-year-old Holocaust veteran Gidon Lev, who was the honored guest during Musk’s highly acclaimed attend, shared her truthful studies on Twitter, the situation became more dire.
” I chatted with Elon Musk. Through Auschwitz, I spent time with him and took him on walks. I stood with him, looking at the unpleasant heaps of locks, luggage, and shoes flooded with pink light meant to preserve it”, Gray wrote.
” Is Musk an ideologue? Folks, actually, it’s worse—he doesn’t care either … He was unmoved by the knowledge”, she added.
” Elon did not care. He was about his hit trip and his guards. I was ten feet away from him as he posed for photos with members of his crew. He was absolutely detached. He cared about how he looked. When he placed a flower at Auschwitz and Gidon was overlooked, he walked away with the devices whirring. This is Elon Musk. A megalomaniac, if ever there was one. To determine, from this attend, that he is a friend of the Jews is sorely naive”, she wrote.
The it investor’s trip to Auschwitz came after anti-Semitism allegations were made against him and his system in late 2023.
