Donald Trump’s explosive first week as US president: Executive orders, controversies, and global ambitions - 'We are so back'

Donald Trump has resurrected US politicians with a major change, consolidating power, and leaving no one’s undisturbed by the government’s strength. In just one month, Trump has turned plan promises into activities, reasserting his “promises made, guarantees kept” chant in sweeping and questionable ways.
On time one, Trump signed a record-breaking variety of administrative orders, surpassing any president in history. These techniques have reshaped immigration plan, eliminated heritage membership, and narrowed the president’s recognition of gender to only two groups. He even purged variety efforts and dismissed domestic watchdogs, cementing his power.

    Pardons and sword dance

Trump’s name began with a very controversial act: pardoning 1, 500 Capitol protestors from the January 6 rebellion. ” We are thus back”, echoed through the White House, as advisers celebrated what they called unparalleled progress.
The former reality TV star leaned into the crowds during his first events, claiming to get” saved by God” to rebuild America’s glory and even performing a dagger party. Elon Musk, one of Trump’s high-profile friends, hailed the second as the “return of the king”.

    Global energy techniques

On the earth level, Trump wasted no time asserting US supremacy. Appearing on a large screen at the Davos platform, he issued a stark order: production in the US or face big tariffs. Trump targeted Greenland and Panama with his territorial language, calling their autonomy into question.
Cementing his” America First” position, Trump pulled the US out of the Paris climate agreement and the World Health Organization. His business threats signal a conservative strategy to globalization.
” Quick in his new name, emboldened by his incredible reincarnation, Trump appears to be Godzilla regionally and abroad”, said Larry Sabato, chairman of the University of Virginia’s Center for Elections.

    Conflicts with friends

Not all has been clean within Trump’s inside group. Elon Musk, immediately seen as a fervent alliance, officially criticized Trump’s optimistic AI infrastructure task, claiming it lacked funding. The explosion blindsided the White House, but Trump dismissed the analysis, remarking,” Elon, one of the citizens, he happens to love. However, I also harbor some grudges.

    Senate play and unusual deals

Trump even flexed his deal-making knowledge worldwide. After challenging Saudi Arabia to spend$ 500 billion on US products, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman upped the offer to$ 600 billion. In true Trump clothing, he pushed for$ 1 trillion during a speech at Davos.
Domestically, Trump faced barriers with Cabinet meetings. Pete Hegseth’s assurance as Defense Secretary passed the Senate by a razor-thin 51-50 voting, with JD Vance casting the deciding vote. Trump dismissed opposition from Mitch McConnell, saying,” Winning is what matters”.

Detractors warn of a gloomy change.

Trump’s subsequent name has revived concerns of an “imperial presidency”. While Trump’s followers tout his swift accomplishments, critics emphasize disturbing signals. Neo-Nazi parties have appeared at anti-abortion demonstrations, and pardoned far-right military officials have begun Capitol tour.
Trump vowed to reestablish the so-called imperial administration that predated Richard Nixon from Franklin Roosevelt in the 1930s, according to Sabato. Nevertheless, he added,” Trump lacks the strong public support necessary to sustain the tough image he’s projecting”.
Trump’s concept of a “golden years” has even drawn attention. His promise to end the conflict in Ukraine within 24 hours is unfulfilled, and gold prices continue to rise. Despite these challenges, his presidency has leaned into sharp control and communication, creating an image of control.
As Trump’s storm first year sets the tone, one query looms big: Will this” next coming” reach his promised transformation, or will it collapse under the weight of its own contradictions?
