Have you noticed that everyone on the left has now admitted costs are outrageously high and blamed Trump for it after four years of insisting the business is in great shape and Joe Biden was bringing inflation over? Also, CBS’s Margaret Brennan interviewed Vice President JD Vance this year, and she pushed the exact narrative—only to get schooled by Vance.

The vice chairman turned the tables by evidently articulating a liberal view of economic development, despite Brennan’s apparent belief that she was cornering Vance with a traditional gotcha problem.
Brennan initiated the discourse by stating,” You campaigned on lowering prices for consumers. We’ve seen all of these professional directions. Which one lowers prices” ? ,
Vance blatantly made the assumption that the new leadership had not made any tangible progress, but he responded with faith.
” Well, first of all, we have done a bit, and there have been a number of executive orders that have caused, now, careers to start coming back into our country, which is a key part of lowering rates”, he told her.  ,
He argued that “more capital expenditure, more job creation in our economy” had finally enable consumers to purchase what they need, which is where the price is most effective.  ,
” So, food prices aren’t going to come down”? Brennan asked, like a fool.
To this, Vance assured her,” No, Margaret, rates are going to come down, but it’s going to take a little bit of day”.
Vance continued,” The president has been leader for all of five times. In those five weeks, he has accomplished more than Joe Biden has in four years, in my opinion. It’s been an extraordinary rapid pace of action”.

He added that more senior orders are coming, as well as that the White House intends to collaborate with Congress.
” You asked specifically what executive purchase is going to help lower rates”, Vance continued. ” All of the things that we’ve done on energy—to discover more energy resources, to produce more power tools in the United States of America. We had a significant increase in energy costs, which was one of the main factors contributing to the Biden Administration’s price increases. I do think that Donald Trump has now taken a number of senior steps to lower energy costs, which means users will see lower prices at the pump and the food store, but it will take some time.
Vance effectively redirected the conversation to the underlying problems while Brennan attempted to tilt the discussion back to specific consumer goods by raising the price of eggs. He explained,” Well, but Margaret, how does bacon get to the grocery store? It is available on diesel-fueled cars. If the fuel is way too expensive, the pork is going to be more cheap” . ,

This change demonstrated Vance’s ability to connect the dots for people, showing how lowering energy costs directly affects customers ‘ grocery bills. ” But if we lower power prices, we are going to notice lower prices for consumers”, he concluded, reinforcing the government’s commitment to tackling the main causes of prices.
I still didn’t get over the fact that the same people who once said our business was in good shape and accused the populace of being ignorant are now attempting to blame Trump for failing to do enough to stop it. Credit goes to JD Vance for teaching Brennan how things work.
