Filers must be at least partially blind or have a “physical or mental condition( s ) that seriously limits their daily activities for 12 months or more or may be expected to result in death to meet eligibility requirements.
The number one can obtain depends on several factors, such as the number of people filing. Individual applicants can receive up to$ 967 per month, married couples can receive up to$ 1,450, and those who provide SSI recipients with necessary care can receive up to$ 484.

Due to inflation, these amounts have increased by 2.5 % since last year.
