In an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S. C. ) responded to questions about President Trump’s use of the pardoning power, particularly for individuals involved in the January 6 riot. Graham’s comments exposed the obvious bias that the media exhibits while also exposing his private position.

Bash addressed the audience with a sharp statement regarding the January 6 clemency, and he inquired whether Daniel Rodriguez, who had been given a 12-year prison sentence for attacking a police agent, should have been pardoned.
” No. I’ve always said that I think when you forgive people who attack authorities officers, you’re sending the wrong message to the people at large”, Graham replied. ” I don’t like this. I don’t like it on either part. And I think the government doesn’t like it sometimes. So if this continues, if this is the standard, there may be an effort to grip in the pardon power of the leader as an organization”.
Have you had any discussions with the leader about this? Did you let him know that you were against what he did? Bash asked.
” No, no. We’ve had this discussion”, Graham replied. ” You know, I’m all in for him. I want him to succeed. I believe that trying to boost bail for protesters in Minneapolis like Kamala Harris did, as well as pardoning those who beat up police officers as Biden did, take the wrong message. And so that’s where I’m at. But he did it. Biden did it. And I believe that most American are against it.

As the conversation continued, Bash took concern when Graham brought up Biden’s clemency or Kamala’s funding for Minnesota protesters.
” Well, you own it, and they believe that they can do what they want if they do it in the president’s name. Isn’t that enabling harmful lawlessness”? she asked.
” You know, when Kamala Harris wanted to go and —”
” Let’s sit on Donald Trump and what happened”, Bash interrupted.
But Graham lacked all of that.
” Come talk about the problem”, Graham shot up. ” The problem is, she tried to raise funds, called them independence fighters, who burned down Minneapolis. They tried to burn down the Portland Courthouse”.
” Senator, I’m asking you about this thing that you’re —”
” I know you just want to speak about Trump—”
” Well, he’s the president”!
” Yeah, but I see it as a bigger problem”, Graham said. ” Yes, I’ve said it clearly, but I don’t like it when President Trump pardons people who assault police officers,” I mean. However, I disliked it when Biden pardoned everyone who was leaving the house. When Kamala Harris attempted to raise loan money for those who shot and hit officers in the mind, I didn’t like it. I don’t like any of this”.
Because it stifled the tale she wanted to advance, Bash refused to discuss Biden’s pardons or Kamala’s funding of protesters.  ,

The Media Research Center’s study revealed that major broadcast networks like ABC, CBS, and NBC only spent 3 hours and 32 hours discussing Joe Biden’s proactive clemency for a number of family members, while the study by these networks included 46 minutes and 32 seconds covering President Donald Trump’s pardons for January 6 political prisoners. I’m surprised they covered Biden’s clemency for that much.
Graham’s conversation with Bash shows that the media wants to pretend that Biden’s clemency never happened, and it’s our responsibility to make sure that the people always forget it.
