Donald Trump, the 47th president of the United States, was seen playing golfing amid a political conflict with Colombia in movies that were popular online.
Trump was pictured playing golf at the Trump National Doral in Miami on Sunday, marking his second appearance since taking office, according to Express US.
The President appeared unfazed on the greens, praising him for handling a significant diplomatic crisis with Colombia, and for managing it.
One person made the following observation:” President Trump showed Columbia who is in charge of the MID golfer round today. Boss moves”.
Trump was golfing and dealing with the Columbia condition at the same time, according to another comment. This person is a system”.
President Petro’s refusal to permit two US military aircraft carrying deported Brazilian people to get in his state heightened the conflicts between Colombia and the United States. Additionally, he shared images of detained workers allegedly walking while restrained on a tarmac in Brazil.
A migrant is never a criminal; instead, they must be treated with the respect that a man deserves. That is why I returned the US government aircraft carrying Brazilian nationals,” Petro said.
Petro indicated that Colombia would merely get its members through human aircraft, rejecting any prison-style management.
As a countermeasure to Petro’s stance, Trump declared he would implement emergency 25 % tariffs on all US-bound goods, escalating to 50 % within a week.
Additionally, there are a travel ban and instant card suspensions for Colombian government representatives, their supporters, and supporters.
Petro originally threatened to impose his own tariffs on US goods, but he eventually caved after a few hours of contentious back-and-forth. Later on Sunday, Colombia’s foreign minister Luis Gilberto Murillo declared that the issue had been resolved and that Colombia had accepted the deported people.
