Danny Danon, Israel’s adviser to the UN, made a formal announcement to the UN security council that the State of Israel would stop working with UNRWA, a UN relief workers organization that serves people in Gaza, within 48 hours.
“UNRWA may cease its actions and remove all its services in Jerusalem”, he said.
After decades of complaints about the organization’s aid and abetting of criminal activities, it was established that it employed Hamas extremists, including those who participated in the October 7 slaughter.
On January 30th, a fresh Jewish laws that outlaws UNWRA comes into effect.
Danon explained that the law forbids any call between Jewish organizations and UNRWA while it is operating within the state’s own sovereign territory. In contrast, it is prohibited from “maintaining any official business, service or action in our lands. Israel may end any exchanges, exchanges, or communications with UNRWA or somebody acting on its behalf.
Danon remarked,” This decision comes after years of efforts to persuade you to rebel against the Hamas’s occupation of the corporation.” The choice also reflects truth: UNRA lacked moral integrity and professionalism, and it injured those who were supposed to receive support from the organization.
