A “next-generation missile defense shield” similar to the” Iron Dome” will be constructed in Israel, according to a president’s executive order on Monday.
Trump’s administrative order, entitled” The Iron Dome for America”, warned that the risk of nuclear, sail, and hypersonic weapons, along with “other advanced aerial assaults”, is” the most severe threat facing the United States”.
The United States may “provide for the popular defence of its members and the Nation by deploying and maintaining a next-generation missile defence shield,” according to the executive order on Monday. According to the executive order, Trump may be required to provide the Department of Defense with a plan to implement the missile defense system in the next 60 times.
Trump’s professional order also directs the secretary of defense to carry an” Allied and Theater Missile Defense Review” regarding how the United States and its allies may improve “bilateral and international cooperation on missile defense technology development, capabilities, and operations” and “improve theater missile defenses of forward-deployed United States troops and allied provinces, soldiers, and groups”.
The 47th leader explained in his executive order that former president Ronald Reagan made an initial effort to “build a successful defence against nuclear assaults,” but that the task was canceled “before its goal may be realized.” Trump cited the United States ‘ missile defence strategy as having “only been in place to stay ahead of rogue-nation threats and spontaneous or unauthorized weapon launch” since the country withdrew from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty in 2002.

Trump’s executive order continued,” Over the past 40 years, the danger from next-generation strategic weapons has become more powerful and complex with the creation by gaze and near-peer adversaries of next-generation distribution systems and their own country integrated air and missile defense capabilities,” rather than “lessening.”
Prior to signing the executive order, Trump explained that under Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s leadership, the United States will “immediately begin the construction of a state-of-the-art Iron Dome missile defense shield, which will be able to protect Americans”.
Trump added,” You know, we protect other countries, but we don’t protect ourself”.
Trump claimed that while Reagan’s regime “didn’t have the technology” to build a missile defense shield, modern technology has advanced to allow nations to create advanced missile defense systems.
” Now we have phenomenal technology”, Trump said. ” You see that with Israel”.
” So I think the United States is entitled to that”, Trump added. And “everything will be made 100 % right here in the USA.”
