Noem cited Secretary of State Marco Rubio‘s efforts to keep President Donald Trump’s campaign promises to arrest illegal immigrants as evidence in his comprehensive analysis of how the management is constantly working to accomplish this. Noem was questioned in a fresh discussion whether the Trump administration was considering using the Guantanamo Bay detention camps, which she responded that the administration was “evaluating.”
” We’re evaluating and talking about that right now”, Noem said on Fox News’s Fox and Friends. ” It’s the government’s decision, but it’s an advantage, and we’re going to continue to look at how we can use all of our resources to retain America healthy”.
Noem also provided an explanation of DHS’s most recent activity, which was signed by previous Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas before Trump’s opening and would have allowed Venezuelan immigrants to remain in the nation for another 18 months. Noem claimed that the office did not follow through with Mayorkas ‘ “tie our arms” because the Trump administration has been deeply concerned about Venezuelan gangs like Tren de Aragua.
” Listen, I was in New York City yesterday, and the people of this country want these dirtbags out”, Noem said. They desire healthy populations in their communities. I thought it was amazing to see people walk by on the street in the morning and simply say,” Thank you, thank you for being here.”
