US state department to strip all the money to “woke applications”, including sex development activities, sexual education and pro-abortion applications, stating that such initiatives do not contribute to making America” stronger, safer, or more prosperous”.
The state office issued a formal declaration stating that” Americans are enthusiastic and good people who have given their lives and wealth to help their fellow men across the globe.” But no international state is entitled to those gains, and no international support system is above scrutiny”.
The recently announced 90-day wait and evaluation of US foreign aid is currently generating positive effects for our nation and our people. We are rooting out spend. We are blocking woke applications. And we are uncovering actions that conflict with our country’s pursuits. None of this would be possible if these courses remained on autopilot”, it added.
Additionally, the statement asserted that a thorough examination and “rooting out spend” require this temporary suspension.
” Every buck we spend, every programme we account, and every plan we pursue may make America safer, stronger, and more profitable. And that’s precisely what we’re doing right now, giving American’s main national passions priority,” the official statement read.
The pause will suspend US support for various plans, including contraception ( and other contraceptive solutions ) in Gaza, climate justice marketing services in Gabon, clean energy programs for women in Fiji, support for sex creation programs, home organizing throughout Latin America, sexual education and pro-abortion programs for young girls globally, and much more.
President Donald Trump, on Monday, implemented a 90-day ice on all foreign support, with important exceptions such as “emergency foods support”.
The administration outlined a process for securing additional exemptions, with requests being reviewed and, when necessary, approved within hours.
According to the state department, the Secretary approved a broad waiver on Tuesday for humanitarian aid, which is defined as “life-saving medicine, medical services, food, shelter, and subsistence assistance, as well as supplies and reasonable administrative costs as necessary to deliver such assistance”.
The US provides about$ 40 billion in annual foreign aid, according to the department. That accounts for four out of every ten dollars in global humanitarian aid and is more than the GDP of several US states. Every dollar we spend should be kept accountable and transparent, especially when it is spent abroad rather than at home, according to the US state department.
